Giving in Line with Tepley’s Values

So many people have given in Tepley’s honor to organizations which celebrate the values she learned at school and we were working to teach her at home - Compassion, Inclusiveness, and Stewardship. Thank you.

COMPASSION

Not even 2 years old, Tepley noticed when her friends (or parents) were sad and would bring a toy or just her presence to try to cheer them. Tepley is also a second-generation immigrant, as are many of her classmates.

STEWARDSHIP

One of Tepley’s favorite books was Take Care which we received from PJ Library about the Jewish tradition of tikkun olam: activities that improve the world. In celebration of Tepley, this commitment focuses in two areas: giving access to books and protecting the environment.

INCLUSIVENESS

Tepley loved to meet new people and to connect people to each other, at school and even in line at the grocery store. She noticed not what was different about them, but the beautiful parts that were the same.
